New Year, New Intentions
Focus on New Intentions
The start of the year is a good time to get new resolutions and goals are written down. For entrepreneurs it is not any different. However, putting these goals into action it’s the interesting part of the “new year, new me” phase. Sometimes businesses set unrealistic high goals for the year. This can cause a lack of motivation due to the unattainability of the goal. So, this year, as an Entrepreneur, focus on making intentions instead of making resolutions. Here is a list of some intentions to focus on in 2021:
#1 Get Rid of the Unnecessary: Spend you time wisely on each task to scale each of the activities you are doing correctly. Spend less time scrolling on social media, get rid of unnecessary email subscriptions, consolidate your operations and marketing to one or two online platforms. Now that working from home has become the norm, you might consider selling office spaces or look for ways to cut costs in real estate.
#2 Share Your Goals & Get Connected: writing down your goals and sharing them with people you trust will help you be committed to accomplishing those goals. Share your vision with new people you meet, because you never know who will need your services or products. Reaching out to people on online platforms and putting yourself out there can be a realistic goal you can set for yourself.
#3 Balance it Out: Some entrepreneurs are not the best at having a work/life balance. Making time for self-care, meditation, and working out can be more beneficial than not taking time for breaks. Putting energy into other hobbies and activities will help your creative and entrepreneurial spirit relax and will give your mind more space for new thoughts and ideas.
Starting the year the right way with these intentions will help you and your business be in the right path to achieving your goals for 2021.
